Matt Marino, Agent
MATT MARINO is a licensed NFL agent and a certified agent with the Major League Players Association with 14 years of experience in the sports business as both a player and now as an agent managing his athlete’s careers on and off the field.
After playing Division I soccer player at Villanova University, Matt played professionally abroad in Sweden and Norway. Because of these experiences, Matt has developed a thorough understanding of the recruitment process and values each client’s needs throughout that player’s career. Since 2007, Matt has represented NFL players drafted in rounds 2-7 of the NFL draft as well as other players who have had successful careers entering the league as undrafted free agents.
Matt assists his clients with adjusting to their new life as a professional athlete and works with each client in order to ensure they use their athletic talents as a means to increase their economic standing. He proactively identifies and negotiates endorsement opportunities with brands that span consumer electronics, tech, lifestyle and hospitality to secure sponsorships, as well as to position clients as the companies’ focus during major sporting events, such as the Super Bowl, Women’s World Cup, league drafts, the NFL Combine, and high-level All-Star games.
As a former professional athlete, Matt is in a unique position to understand the needs and demands on each of his NFL clients and believes that communication is the key to a player’s success with his team, family, coaches, advisors, and others. Matt believe that communication during the entire pre-draft process is essential and just as important in increasing the player’s draft stock as success achieved on the playing field throughout a collegiate career. A resident of Hoboken, NJ, Matt develops outstanding professional relationships with NFL executives and scouts, which he regularly utilizes for a client’s benefit.
Jeremy Appledorf, Agent
Entering his third year as a licensed NFL agent, JEREMY APPLDORF proves to be relentless when it comes to standing on the frontline for his clients. In his first two years, Jeremy was able to secure NFL contracts and marketing deals for over ten NFL clients. His unparalleled desire, matched with his ability to secure relationships with front office personnel, demonstrates only a small piece of what he brings to the table.
Although still early in years, what Jeremy does possess is his commitment, availability and genuine effort to do right by his clients, coupled with an unmatched tenacity to help players and their families with both on-the-field performance and off-the- field matters. As one of the younger NFL agents with a client roster, Jeremy is able to relate to many of the trials and tribulations that a young athlete may go through and can quickly deliver thoughtful, quality advice. Anytime of day or night, his clients know they can count on him for whatever they may need.
Jeremy believes the essence of top-notch representation starts with the highest level of loyalty, trust and respect for his clients. He also believes that “clients” is just another word for “family” and that family always has your best interest at heart.
With a background and degree in Law from Rowan University and a Master’s degree from Manhattanville College, Jeremy immediately became a licensed NFL agent upon receiving his graduation degree and has worked with EMG Sports for three years. Born and raised in South Jersey, he graduated from Winslow Township High School and spent most of his childhood in Sicklerville, NJ. Jeremy currently resides in Lindenwold, NJ, with his family, and volunteers in many youth-related community activities in his hometown and the surrounding South Jersey area.
Adam Sattler, Agent
ADAM SATTLER has been an attorney for over 20 years and has been a licensed NFL agent since 2010. He has negotiated over a dozen player contracts that are lucrative in both base compensation and bonuses as well as off-the-field endorsement deals for his clients.
Adam was born in the Bronx and grew up in northern New Jersey. He attended Brandeis University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He then went on to graduate from Hofstra University School of Law and has been admitted to the Bars of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania since 1993. He currently resides in Mamaroneck, New York with his wife and children.
Additionally, Adam is a member of The Sports Lawyers Association, The New York State Trial Lawyers Association, The New York State Bar Association, and the New York County Lawyers Association. Adam believes that it is a privilege to represent young athletes as they transition from college sports into professional football. He loves the challenge of teaching young athletes what it takes to survive in the “real world” away from the often-insulated college environment. His many years of legal experience negotiating contracts as an attorney, has given Adam the ability to ensure that his clients get the most out of any negotiation and he prides himself on never leaving anything “on the table.”
Since co-founding his own law firm in 1998, Adam was responsible for managing the firm’s civil litigation department, representing the firm’s sports clients in their contract, child support and divorce matters, and offering counsel on all of the trust and estate cases. Prior to founding the firm, he worked in the General Counsel’s office responsible for representing many of New York City’s law enforcement unions in a wide array of legal matters and was the youngest attorney ever asked to run an entire department within the firm. By combining his wide array of experience as an attorney with his extensive knowledge of professional football, Adam provides his clients with the most extensive and highest quality of legal and professional representation.
As a father, husband, and family man, Adam believes that EMG Sports is truly all about our “family” working together to help each client and their families achieve their personal and team goals both on and off the playing field. In addition, Adam prides himself on making sure all of his clients are prepared for success in life after football. Adam has offered pro bono legal services to many young athletes who have encountered off the field issues that in-turn have caused their playing careers to be derailed. He is considered by many to be an expert in “crisis-response” and is consulted often to assist others in developing a successful response strategy.
Garrett Majors, Director of Client Services
GARRETT MAJORS has worked with EMG Sports for over 8 years and brings a wealth of experience to his role as the firm’s Director of Client Services.

In addition, he won a Pennsylvania State Championship in basketball at Harrisburg High School.
Since joining EMG Sports, Garrett’s role has continually expanded and includes working with all new rookie clients in the agency’s Rookie Transition Program to the League, which is held every Spring prior to the annual draft. He plays an integral role as a mentor helping clients get established in their new NFL cities while assisting them and their families with daily off-the-field activities and issues that may arise from time to time.
Additionally, Garrett gained years of experience procuring and negotiating marketing, endorsement, and sponsorship deals for clients with top-level brands such as Nike, Under Armour, Panini, Topps, Upper Deck, and many others. One of the roles that he enjoys most, however, is coordinating each client’s summer football camps, charity softball games and bowling events, and other community-based outings to benefit area youth in each player’s hometown.
COUNTED on as both a friend and mentor, Garrett continually offers his support and years of experience to younger athletes as they learn to adapt to a career as a professional football player. With his family, he is also very active in his community and Church, volunteers his time as a youth coach, and has worked with Special Olympic athletes as well.
